Where stories find form, and art meets purpose.

Chitrokarkhana is not just a studio — it’s an artistic factory built on labour, empathy, and resistance. Since 2012, we’ve been documenting realities that often go unseen, giving shape and sound to voices long silenced.

From Dhaka’s backstreets to borderland communities, we work with truth, not spectacle. With every documentary, visual campaign, and creative collaboration — we strive to create work that connects people to people, and art to justice.

Our canvas is wide: films, branded content, curated events, and cultural documentation — but every project shares a single commitment: to challenge what’s overlooked and amplify what truly matters.

Our Mission

Our goal at Chika360 productions, empowerment via Visual nararratives, is to use the craft of documentary filmmaking as a catalyst for social change.

We are dedicated to shedding light on the untold stories of marginalized communities, fostering empathy and inspiring positive action. With a commitment to authenticity and social justice, we aim to use the power of visual storytelling to amplify the voices of the unheard and challenge societal norms. Through our work, we strive to create a more inclusive world where every individual’s story is acknowledged, respected and celebrated

Our Vision

Transformative Narratives for a Just World. In our ideal world, documentaries would have a lasting effect on people’s emotions, minds, and social structures in addition to being seen on screens.

The goal is to be a force for change known for our captivating narratives that address important societal concerns to lead a movement that generates dialogue, raises awareness and motivates people to take action together. We hope to close gaps, destroy misconceptions and help build a society that is more just and equal through our documentaries.

Meet the minds behind the movement

Visionary. Storyteller. Thinker. Meet Estiak Prottoy

Estiak Prottoy is the soul of Chitrokarkhana — a documentary filmmaker, creative director, and grassroots collaborator driven by a deep belief in storytelling as activism.

Over the years, he’s worked with international NGOs, youth collectives, and underrepresented communities to spotlight stories that rarely make it to the mainstream. His lens is both political and poetic — centering resilience, marginality, and shared humanity.

From filming inside indigenous villages and refugee homes to producing campaigns that have moved hearts and policies, Estiak brings emotional depth and narrative strategy to every frame. His documentaries have not only won recognition — they’ve built empathy, dialogue, and trust.

His leadership blends craft and cause, making Chitrokarkhana what it is today — a home for meaningful visual work.
